The Terebra Maculatra is the shell from the Auger family that is commonly known as the Marlinspike.  This shell has a long spindle like shape that is cream with a brown spiral speckled pattern.  This makes for an elegant looking cheese knife that is approximately 9 ½” in length.  Empty seashells are made into strong knobs, pulls, and tableware.
