The Terebra Maculatra is the shell from the Auger family that is commonly known as the Marlinspike. This shell has a long spindle like shape that is cream with a brown spiral speckled pattern. This makes for an elegant looking salad tong set that is approximately 9 1/2” in length and would look stunning at any dining table. The Marlinspike Salad Tongs come with a spoon style tong and a fork style tong. Empty seashells are made into strong knobs, pulls, and tableware. These decorative fittings are of high quality and resistant to tension and torsion. Being made from shells found in nature means that each shell is unique. Coloration and patterns will vary slightly between shells of the same species. Main patents: Europe 09369960, USA 6351873
