2 Mole Cowrie cabinet knobs or drawer pulls
Cypraea Talpa is the Latin name for this shell commonly known as the Mole Cowrie which can be found in the waters of the Indo-Pacific region. It is approximately 2” long it has distinctive bands of gold caramel and cream on its back with a dark brown to black base. Cowrie shells can be traced throughout history as being used for decorative, religious and even financial purposes and now they can decorate your home. Knobs and pulls are sold in pairs.
