Codakia Tigerina is the Latin name for this shell also known as the Tiger Lucine.  It is common in tropical waters throughout the Indo-Pacific region.  Approximately 2 3/4” shell with a reticulate ornamentation, it is white with soft rose/mauve speckling near the edges.  Knobs and pulls are sold in pairs.  Empty seashells are made into strong knobs, pulls, and tableware.
